Red Dog Bakery School
Our classes are designed to teach home bakers a practical method that is easy to fit around your busy life while still producing great bread.
The following one-day courses are available for August 2019:
- Sun 11th: Beginners bread making: being introduced to the skills of fermentation, kneading, scaling, shaping and finishing the products. Working through recipes and methods that can then be replicated at home to produce professional style products. We will make a number of savoury and sweet yeasted bread products. Focus will be on learners baking with confidence.
Sun 18th: Introduction to Sourdough: this is for home bakers that want to create and manage sourdough with confidence. We will be using a variety of grains and flours to create a range of fabulous Artisan sourdough breads. An ideal course for those who want to learn the core skills and management techniques of sourdough. You will create your own sourdough ferment for home bread baking.

Bakery courses run in small groups with a maximum of four learners, this ensures everyone gets the most out of the sessions. All ingredients, refreshments, lunch and resources are supplied.
